This unblended extra sweet component of barleywine was aged for three years in our "Barleywinery", spending half its time in bourbon barrels before finishing in French oak augmented cherry liqueur barrels. Frequent topping preserves youthful aromatics in this highly concentrated symphony of malt and oak.
